General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Welcome to Christina Witthaus Jewelery!

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between you and Christina Witthaus Juwelry. By completing your order, you accept these terms and conditions. They create transparency and ensure a secure shopping experience.

1. Garantie & Pflegeleistungen

Jede Anfrage zur Inanspruchnahme unserer Garantie wird individuell geprüft, um sicherzustellen, dass jedes Anliegen sorgfältig und im Sinne unserer Qualitätsansprüche behandelt wird.

1.1. Reinigung

Innerhalb des ersten Jahres nach Kauf kannst du deinen Schmuck einmal kostenlos zur Reinigung einsenden. Für weitere Reinigungen nach Ablauf des ersten Jahres fallen Kosten an.

Bei Interesse kannst du das Formular hier ausfüllen.

1.2. 2 Jahre Reparaturgarantie bei Fertigungsfehlern
Unsere Garantie gilt ab Kaufdatum:​

  • 1 Jahr für alle Schmuckstücke

Sie umfasst die kostenlose Reparatur deines Schmuckstücks, sofern der Schaden auf einen Fertigungsfehler zurückzuführen ist.

  • Um eine Reparatur anzufragen, fülle bitte zuerst das Formular hier aus.

  • Nach sorgfältiger Prüfung informieren wir dich, ob der Reparaturauftrag genehmigt wurde.

  • Im Falle einer Genehmigung erhältst du alle notwendigen Informationen zum Versand. Bitte sende dein Schmuckstück nicht ohne vorherige Absprache, um Verluste oder Fehlleitungen zu vermeiden.

  • Den genauen Ablauf der Einsendung für die Reparatur teilen wir dir per E-Mail mit.

  • Versand- und Abholkosten übernehmen wir vollständig.

 

Nicht enthalten:

  • Vorsätzliche Beschädigung

  • Schäden durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch oder Einwirkung Dritter

  • Verlust oder nicht reparierbare Schäden durch unzureichende Pflege

1.3. Extra-Garantie für vergoldete/versilberte Stücke

Innerhalb des ersten Jahres ist eine einmalige kostenlose Neuvergoldung bzw. -versilberung möglich, sofern sich die Beschichtung durch normalen Gebrauch abgetragen hat.

Ausgeschlossen:

  • Abnutzung durch unsachgemäße Nutzung (z. B. Chemikalien, Meer- oder Chlorwasser)

  • Starke Kratzer oder mechanische Schäden

  • Absichtlich entfernte Beschichtungen

2. Returns (Right of Withdrawal & Returns)

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason.

How to initiate a return:
You can initiate your return directly in your customer account or using our return form here . Alternatively, you can contact us by email at contact@christinawitthaus.com . After reviewing your request, we will let you know whether the return is accepted.

Please note:

  • Returns must be unworn, undamaged and in the original packaging .

  • You are responsible for the return shipping costs.

  • Personalized or specially made jewelry is excluded from the right of withdrawal.

  • We cover shipping costs for repairs under our warranty.

3. Personalized jewelry

  • Personalized jewelry (e.g. engravings, custom-made items) are excluded from exchange and return.

  • Each request will be reviewed individually; you will be informed whether it can be implemented.

  • Please check all information carefully before completing your order.

  • Delivery time may be extended due to individual adjustments.

4. Shipping conditions & delivery times

  • Delivery exclusively within Germany.

  • All products are usually delivered within 2 weeks of receipt of payment.

  • You will receive shipping details by email after completing your order.

  • If there are any unexpected delays, we will inform you immediately by email.

5. Prices & Payment Methods

  • All prices quoted are final prices.

  • According to Section 19 of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG), no sales tax is charged and therefore not shown.

Payment methods:

  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard)

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • Klarna instant bank transfer

  • PayPal

  • All payments are made via secure, encrypted connections.

  • Payment information is not stored on our website unless you choose to store it in your customer account.

  • For online orders (jewelry, tickets for our events or workshops), you will receive payment information via email.

  • For exhibitions, pop-ups or events, payment is made exclusively on site.

6. Liability & Data Protection

  • We are only liable for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent actions on our part.

  • We assume no liability for damage caused by improper use or force majeure .

  • The protection of your personal data is important to us. You can find details in our privacy policy .

7. Sicherheit, Cookies & Drittanbieter

Wir setzen technische und organisatorische Sicherheitsmaßnahmen ein, um deine Daten zu schützen. Unsere Webseite verwendet Cookies und Analyse-Tools (z. B. Google Analytics) zur Optimierung der Nutzererfahrung. Zur Abwicklung von Zahlungen, Newsletter-Versand und Website-Analyse nutzen wir externe Dienste wie Wix, PayPal, Klarna, Mailchimp und Google Analytics.
